Apple's marketing efforts have been quite remarkable lately. While the MacBook Neo campaign is the most attention-grabbing project, the new spring campaign launched in Japan promotes the App Store with fun commissioned ads. You can watch below.
Take the Next Step with the App Store
Creative Blog (source: AppleInsider) has noticed that Apple Japan's YouTube channel has released a new spring campaign consisting of three videos promoting the App Store featuring artworks commissioned from 13 local artists.
In each video, when the user taps the App Store logo, the camera zooms into a colorful animation sequence showcasing various apps, each with its own visual style.
As part of the campaign, Apple also published a story promoting the "new life" season on the Japanese App Store, inviting users to trust the apps in the App Store as they take a step into something new:
The new life season of 2026 has arrived. Whether you're starting school, advancing classes, becoming part of a new workforce, or starting to live in a new city, everyone taking a new step is the star of this season. If you're starting something new, elevating what you already do, or taking a pause to recharge, let's keep moving towards our goals.
In this new life season, while App Store editors highlight carefully selected apps and games for the next step you want to take, they also spotlight people making progress in different fields.
Among the featured apps are Pokémon Sleep, Goodnotes, Royal Kingdom, Procreate Pocket, LINE, CapCut, and ChatGPT.
