I have been a Satechi customer for years. I have used countless of their products, from iPad hubs to computer accessories and chargers. They produce great, high-quality accessories that match the Apple aesthetic. Most recently, they launched the 3-in-1 Qi2 foldable wireless charging stand, and it meets all my expectations for this charger. It offers fast charging, has a sleek design, and can be used both on the desk and while traveling. Here’s what you need to know.

Satechi 3-in-1 Charger Features and Design
This new charger is made with the newer Qi2.2 wireless standard, meaning it offers faster and more efficient 25W charging speeds, especially for iPhones. Here are its features:
- Up to 25W Qi2 wireless charging for iPhone
- 5W charging for AirPods or Qi headphones
- 5W fast charging support for Apple Watch (Series 7 and later)
- Foldable design for portability
- Vertical and horizontal viewing support (perfect for StandBy mode)
- Comes with a 45W USB-C charging adapter and includes US, EU, and UK plug adapters
It’s great that this charger offers the latest and best wireless charging technology for iPhones. If you are using an iPhone 16 or newer, it will charge at a full 25W speed. If you are using an older iPhone, you will still receive 15W wireless charging.
Another feature of this charger is the build quality and materials used. Made of aluminum, it gives a nice space gray Apple aesthetic. The base of the charger is also quite heavy, which gives it a high-quality feel. Additionally, they have opted for rounded edges and corners to provide a more inviting look and feel. Everything gives a curved and sleek sensation. The charging pad has a soft rubber coating, which protects the aluminum if you are charging your iPhone without a case. So, how does it perform in daily use?
My Experiences
The first thing you notice is the structure and weight of this product. It feels like a premium product. The charger is made of anodized aluminum, which gives a similar feel to other Apple products. Another important design feature is that this charger is foldable. It is designed with travel in mind, but thanks to its heavy base, it feels suitable for daily use on my desk. Most travel-oriented chargers are lightweight, which is good for travel, but not great for those wanting a permanent desk or bedside lamp charger. Satechi’s charger offers a perfect balance, being sturdy enough as a desk charger while also being light enough to carry around.
There are many small details that set this charger apart from others. First, the MagSafe part is covered with a soft-textured rubber reminiscent of the iPad Magic Keyboard. Satechi has done this to protect your iPhone more if you place your bare iPhone on the charger. Another nice detail is the wireless charging pad for AirPods. There is a slight dip at the base, so there is a designated area for your AirPods to settle. This is to ensure that you can align your AirPods perfectly every time. In the past, I would hear a small sound indicating that my AirPods were charging when I placed them down. However, in the middle of the night, that sound would start ringing repeatedly because they were misaligned. This design feature of Satechi’s charger eliminates that annoyance. The last feature I want to highlight is its portability. I plan to use this as my desk charger, but if you want, you can completely fold it flat and place it in a backpack pocket.
Lastly, the charging speeds are fast charging. Even at full capacity, nothing gets warm when touched. The fast charging for the Apple Watch is the most beneficial for me. I place it on this charger for 30 minutes a day, and everything is ready.
Pricing, Availability, and Final Thoughts
Satechi’s new Qi2.2 wireless charger is available on Amazon today for $129. As of writing this article, there is a 10% discount code directly usable on the Amazon product page, bringing the price down to $117. It comes in a single color, Space Black, and includes everything you need in the box.
This charger is perfect for all my needs. The only thing I would add is to include magnets for a more secure alignment for the AirPods charger. I haven’t had alignment issues with the dip solution, but I love magnets. If you are looking for a new charger for your big trio or want to gift someone, this would be a great gift or purchase.
