Apple has introduced the extremely affordable MacBook Neo, but according to Mark Gurman's latest report, the company plans to delve deeper into the high-end segment with "more Ultra devices."

According to Mark Gurman, Five New High-End Apple Products Are Coming

In yesterday's Power On newsletter, Mark Gurman summarized five upcoming products that he describes as 'Ultra' devices in the higher segment.

Gurman carefully notes that Apple may not use the Ultra branding on all of them, but he believes at least one of these products will be called 'Ultra.'

The five products include:

  • A foldable iPhone, commonly referred to as 'iPhone Fold'
  • New AirPods equipped with computer vision cameras to relay visual intelligence data to Siri
  • The OLED and touch-supported M6 MacBook Pro may carry the 'Ultra' brand
  • A foldable iPad allegedly featuring an 18.8-inch display
  • High-end iMacs with more powerful processors and larger screens

At least three of these five products are expected to be released this year.

Apple's first foldable iPhone is planned to be introduced in September alongside the iPhone 18 Pro.

The new AirPods are likely to arrive this fall, based on Apple's typical AirPods launch schedule.

The new MacBook Pro, with OLED, touch support, Dynamic Island, and more, is expected to be released later this fall, likely in October or November.

We do not expect the foldable iPad to arrive anytime soon, but the high-end iMacs could be released this year—though there are currently no rumors about this.

Additionally, an Apple Watch Ultra 4 is also expected to be released this year.

Gurman carefully emphasizes that it is uncertain whether Apple will use the 'Ultra' branding for these products. Personally, I think 'Ultra' could be used for one or two of these products, but probably not too many.

However, regardless of whether Apple uses the Ultra name or not, one thing is certain: if you are interested in high-end devices, there will certainly be no shortage of new options in the future.
