Pluribus Season 2 is in the works, and one of the stars of the show has shared a major update about its return.
Pluribus Season 2 starts filming this fall, says star Karolina Wydra
Apple TV’s sci-fi hit series Pluribus has been off the air for just a few months, but the creative team behind the show is constantly being asked for updates on Season 2.
So far, the only thing we’ve heard from creator Vince Gilligan, star Rhea Seehorn, and others is that the writers are hard at work. However, this process will take time and patience.
But star Karolina Wydra, who plays the character Zosia, has shared a much more concrete update about Season 2.
Wydra stated that filming for Pluribus Season 2 will begin in the fall months, according to an interview with Screen Rant.
There is no exact date yet, but the plan is for it to start in the fall of 2026.
Every update we’ve heard about Season 2 so far has been vague calls for patience, so this is exciting news.
When is Pluribus Season 2 expected to premiere
If Pluribus starts filming in the next 5-7 months, there is still a possibility of a release date in the fall of 2027—two years after the first season.
A 2028 premiere is a more pessimistic possibility. But we hope we won’t have to wait that long.
On a related note, Severance Season 3 will also start filming soon and is likely to be released in late 2027.
Apple wouldn’t want both shows to premiere at the same time, but if that happens, it would be an exciting time for the broadcaster.
