To kick off the celebrations for Apple’s 50th anniversary, the Computer History Museum will host a panel this evening featuring several veteran Apple executives, moderated by journalist David Pogue. Here’s how you can watch.

The live stream is scheduled for 7:00 PM PDT / 10:00 PM ET

As previously discussed here, the Computer History Museum will celebrate Apple’s 50th anniversary with a series of events, including tonight’s "Apple at 50" panel. Although the in-person event is sold out, you can still watch it live on CMH’s YouTube channel.

Tonight’s panel will be moderated by veteran journalist David Pogue. Pogue has just released his book titled "Apple: The First 50 Years," which revisits the company’s history with new and familiar stories based on interviews with "150 key people," including Steve Wozniak, John Sculley, Jony Ive, and many current designers, engineers, and executives.

Former Apple CEO John Sculley will also be part of tonight’s panel. Additionally, Senior Employee Chris Espinosa, who joined Apple in 1976 and is the company’s longest-serving employee, will participate, along with former Senior Vice President of Hardware Engineering Jon Rubinstein, who will join remotely, and former Senior Vice President of Software Technology Avadis “Avie” Tenevian, who left Apple in 2006.

According to CHM, here’s what to expect from the event:

Join the Computer History Museum for a special CHM Live evening celebrating Apple’s first half-century. It will be a conversation with the leaders who reshaped, scaled, and created global impact for the company. From the early garage days of the 1970s, through the Macintosh era of the 1980s, to Apple’s transformation with the iPhone in the 2000s, the program will explore how Apple has continuously redefined itself and remained committed to a distinctive vision.

The live stream will start at 7:00 PM PDT / 10:00 PM EDT on CMH’s YouTube channel, but you can also watch the video embedded below. Alternatively, you can register for a free virtual ticket on CMH’s event page to keep it as a memento.
