Expensive Android tablets have been relatively rare in recent years, with most high-quality options coming from Samsung. Lenovo aims to change this situation with two new models named Idea Tab Pro Gen 2 and Legion Tab Gen 5.

Both tablets announced at MWC 2026 bring flagship-level hardware to the Android ecosystem, targeting productivity-focused users and mobile gamers.

What Do Lenovo's New Tablets Mean for the Android Market?

With these two launches, Lenovo is strengthening its presence in the premium Android tablet space; direct competition remains quite limited during this period.

The Idea Tab Pro Gen 2 offers high-quality features at a very competitive price point, while the Legion Tab Gen 5 targets users looking for top-tier gaming performance in a compact form factor.

For users looking for something beyond iPads and Galaxy Tabs, Lenovo's latest tablets significantly expand the flagship Android options available in 2026.
