Last week, Tom’s Guide published an interview with Apple SVPs John Ternus and Greg Joswiak. We covered many quotes here, but Apple’s new CEO Ternus also shared his thoughts on Vision Pro.
Apple's New CEO John Ternus Has a Bright Vision for the Future of Vision Pro
When asked about the sales challenges of Vision Pro, Apple CEO Tim Cook has been a regular advocate for the product.
At one point, Cook mentioned in an interview that he uses Vision Pro in various ways every day. However, nearly a year after its launch, he referred to it as an "early adopter product."
But now, as John Ternus prepares to be CEO, some may wonder what his thoughts on Apple Vision Pro are.
In the interview published by Tom’s Guide last week, the new Apple CEO was asked how he views Vision Pro and the spatial computing category in general.
Here’s what he said:
I think we are still in the very early stages of spatial computing. We are very excited about it. Vision Pro is an extraordinary product. As Joz said, it’s like we reached into the future and pulled it into the present. People continue to find exciting new use cases for it. There are many attractive things in business, medicine, and other fields, and this will continue to grow. It’s fun, we are at the beginning of our journey.
That’s it: Apple’s new CEO sees a bright future for Vision Pro and spatial computing.
This is not too surprising, but it reinforces that Apple is pursuing a long-term strategy with head-mounted wearable devices.
