Apple has launched a new campaign in China titled "Thank goodness I was wearing it" ("还好戴着它"). This campaign also includes a special podcast episode featuring the stories of three users. Here are the details.

The Apple Watch campaign highlights life-changing experiences

Apple and TBWAMedia Arts Lab – China have launched a campaign featuring the stories of three Apple Watch users who were saved thanks to emergency features.

On Apple's Chinese website, in a new section titled "Thank goodness I was wearing it," quotes from three Apple Watch users, Me Junyan, Chen Huimin, and Yang Xiao, who share their stories about fall detection, accident detection, and heart rate alerts, are included.

TBWA states that the name of the "Thank goodness I was wearing it" campaign comes from a phrase used organically by Apple Watch users after emergencies or health-related issues. (I agree with this sentiment.)

Additionally, the campaign includes a special episode of the podcast "你,静不下来" hosted by Li Jing, "one of China's most trusted interviewers and an Apple Watch user," according to TBWA. This episode can be roughly translated as "You Can't Calm Down."

In the one-hour episode, the three users share their stories, including an emergency phone call that saved the life of a user who was unconscious after a serious traffic accident.

If you know Chinese and would like to watch or listen to the entire episode, you can follow this link. Otherwise, you can check out the subtitled segments of the interview on TBWA's website.
