Currently, until April 13, new Apple Card users can earn 5% cash back on grocery purchases during the first 6 months of their card membership. This is significantly higher than the usual 1-2% cash back you typically receive on grocery purchases.

Apple has been offering this promotion in a targeted manner for at least a month, but there was not yet a public link available. Now there is: you can sign up here.

This offer allows new users to earn 5% cash back on grocery purchases made with both the physical titanium card and Apple Pay, and it provides users with bonus cash back of up to $500. It is quite rare to receive a valid bonus for the physical Apple Card, but there is a small caveat.

Since you have a limit for earning the $500 bonus cash back, if you use the physical card, you will earn the 5% bonus with less spending - because earning the bonus at 4% will end when your grocery spending reaches $12,500, whereas the bonus at 3% will be protected up to $16,667 in grocery spending.

This may not be significant, as you are only protected this much during the first 6 months of card ownership (and you probably won't be spending that much on groceries in the first 6 months), but it's worth mentioning.

In any case, Apple is offering up to $500 in additional cash back on grocery spending for new cardholders, but you have less than 2 weeks to take advantage of this offer.

Summary

Apart from this offer, the Apple Card provides 1% cash back using the titanium card, 2% cash back on all purchases made with Apple Pay, and 3% cash back on purchases made at Apple and select partner merchants. Some of these partner merchants include Ace Hardware, Booking.com, ChargePoint, Walgreens/Duane Reade, Uber/Uber Eats, Exxon Mobil, Hertz, and Nike.

Additionally, there is an offer for all Apple Card users to earn 5% cash back at Walgreens and Duane Reade until May 20.
