Reddit has completed the process of removing the r/all page, and links now redirect users to their homepage feeds. This change applies to both the Reddit app and the standard desktop website. Users accessing Old Reddit via old.reddit.com or by enabling the Old Reddit setting can still directly access r/all from the top menu bar.

Reddit confirmed this update in its latest change log, stating that the purpose is to simplify Reddit and personalize the homepage feed.

Features Removed by Reddit with r/all

r/all displays the latest posts on Reddit with minimal filtering and includes many posts from subreddits that users are not subscribed to. Although Reddit states that the feed does not contain sexual content, other NSFW posts that will not be shown on r/popular may still appear.

In the future, r/popular will serve as Reddit's official option to scan trending posts outside of the communities you are subscribed to. It includes additional filters compared to r/all. Old Reddit users can still access r/all from the top navigation bar.

Reddit has not explained why this removal process does not apply to Old Reddit. It can be accessed from old.reddit.com or by enabling Old Reddit as the default in the Preferences tab within Account Settings.

Reddit’s r/all Removal Timeline

Reddit first announced plans to remove r/all in December 2025. The company began testing the removal in January 2026, referring to it as an experiment at that time. During this period, desktop users were redirected as part of the same test.

In February 2026, Reddit confirmed that the experiment had ended and that r/all would be permanently removed. The final implementation is now complete. Reddit has not indicated whether access to r/all will be removed from Old Reddit in a future update.
