In this episode, I discuss what I believe to be the most significant finding from Jamf’s latest Security 360 report: that trojan malware now constitutes more than 50% of all Mac malware detections. This has risen from around 17% a year ago and has taken the top spot ahead of infostealers. However, it's not as simple as trojans just becoming more popular...

Essentially, it relies on a single malware family, Atomic Stealer (shockingly), which now sits at the top of both the trojan and infostealer categories. This dual classification is reshaping the way we think about the Mac threat landscape because I believe the old boundaries between malware categories are becoming blurred.
