iOS 26.5 beta 1 was released for developers earlier this week, but Apple has now sent out an updated beta 1 version for testing.
iOS 26.5 Receives New Beta 1 Update
If your iPhone is running Apple's developer beta, a new iOS 26.5 update is available to download today.
The first beta version of iOS 26.5 was released earlier this week. However, now, just a few days later, a revised beta 1 version of iOS 26.5 has arrived.
Why a new version? Probably due to unexpected bugs that Apple did not want to wait for beta 2 to resolve.
To find the new beta, open the Settings app on your iPhone and go to General ⇾ Software Update.
We will continue to keep you informed about the new features discovered in the latest beta version.
The original release made earlier this week included several new features, such as the 'Suggested Places' feature in Apple Maps, RCS end-to-end encrypted messaging, and more.
