Apple has released the second version of iOS 26.4 beta 3 for developers. The update comes three days after the first version. It is unclear what the new version fixes, but it is currently available as an over-the-air update.

The build version of the new iOS 26.4 beta 3 is 23E5223k, while the previous version was 23E5223f. Devices using the previous build will see the new update this week, and public beta testers should also see the new version.

iOS 26.4 includes many exciting new features and changes, including AI-powered Apple Music updates.

The changes we have seen in iOS 26.4 so far include:

  • redesigned Apple Music album and playlist views
  • AI-powered “Playlist Playground” feature for Apple Music
  • per-device Personal Hotspot data usage reports
  • and more.

Apple is also testing end-to-end encrypted RCS messaging and an improved video podcast experience. iOS 26.4 enables Device Theft Detection by default, and iOS 26's CarPlay video support is making progress. iOS 26.4 beta 2 further fine-tuned some upcoming changes.
