Images captured with an iPhone show the reflected light of Earth illuminating the Orion cabin on the second day of the mission. You can watch it below.
Earth Light Captured with iPhone
At this point, some may consider it old news that the Artemis II crew used an iPhone to take photos and videos during their mission around the Moon earlier this month.
However, for astronomy enthusiasts, including myself, there can never be too many astronomy photos and videos.
Earlier today, NASA's Artemis account shared an impressive video showing Earth light from the Orion spacecraft on X.
In the video, astronaut Christina Koch's face is fully illuminated, lit only by sunlight reflected from Earth on the second flight day of the mission.
A few seconds later, she turns the camera and shows Earth outside the capsule, with the reflection of the iPhone slightly visible on the glass.
