Severance is set to begin filming its 3rd season, and Adam Scott hints in a new interview that big surprises are on the way. He also revealed that he already knows the show's finale.

There are ‘many surprises’ in Severance Season 3, and the show's finale has already been determined

Apple’s sci-fi hit series Severance is set to begin filming its 3rd season very soon, with a premiere expected on Apple TV in late 2027.

In a new interview with Variety magazine, star Adam Scott was asked what he could share about Severance Season 3.

Of course, he did not provide any specific plotlines or other concrete details. However, Scott announced that there are “many surprises” in the new season of Severance.

He also confirmed that although Ben Stiller will not be directing any episodes this season, he is “still very involved with the show.”

Another noteworthy quote regarding Severance’s finale was as follows.

Apple and the show's creators have not yet revealed how long the show will continue. However, it seems that the finale of Severance has already been determined, and Scott knows everything about it.

“Oh, yes. I’m the executive producer of the show, so I’m involved in everything. We’re constantly talking with the writers and Dan [Erickson]. I know what’s going on. [As an actor] I love to have as much information as possible.”

Previously, Severance creator Dan Erickson promised that the show would answer its major mysteries. In other words, viewers will not experience a repeat like they did with ABC’s Lost.

You can watch the first two seasons of Severance here on Apple TV.

Apple TV is available for $12.99 per month, or you can get it at a discounted rate with the Apple One bundle.
