Apple has updated its developer website this week to highlight third-party applications using Liquid Glass to "create natural, responsive experiences on Apple platforms."
This is the second version of Apple's design gallery for Liquid Glass, with the first gallery introduced in November. Since then, more applications have adopted the new Liquid Glass design language, and both developers and Apple have made improvements to the overall application.
Apple states, "In the latest version of our new design gallery, discover how teams of all sizes are leveraging new design and Liquid Glass to create natural, responsive experiences on Apple platforms."
One of the applications featured in Apple's new design gallery is Carrot Weather:
While the sarcastic robot with dreams of world domination remains the same, a fresh look is evident in this unique weather application, especially while rotating around the map in the Radar tab. The app has become simpler: Developer Brian Mueller provided a cleaner experience by reducing the number of tabs in the bottom toolbar. (Also, while not technically design-related, it introduced a fully musical feature, which is noteworthy.)
My favorite app for creating playlist art for Apple Music, Denim, is also mentioned:
In this playlist cover design application, the Liquid Glass toolbar controls integrate beautifully with its dark canvas. The app's undo and repeat buttons embrace the new design, and the text labels in the cover art get a fresh look.
Other applications featured in the Liquid Glass design gallery include Tasks, GoodLinks, AllTrails, Fantastical, and more.
You can access the full design gallery from Apple's website.
