iPhone 17 Pro Max Dominates Sales in Q4 2025

According to the new report from Counterpoint Research, Apple secured five spots among the top 10 best-selling smartphones in the last quarter. The list features the iPhone 17 Pro Max in first place, followed by the iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Pro.

The iPhone 16 ranks fourth, while the iPhone 16e is in eighth place. The iPhone Air did not make it into the top 10.

Samsung secured four positions with the Galaxy A56 (#5), Galaxy A36 (#6), Galaxy A07 (#7), and Galaxy S25 (#10). Xiaomi made the list in ninth place with the Redmi A5.

Counterpoint noted that "the top 10 best-selling smartphones accounted for 23% of global sales throughout the quarter," emphasizing that only the iPhone 17 Pro Max held a 5% share.

Throughout the year, Apple consistently maintained its iPhone models in Counterpoint's top 10 list, firmly holding the top three spots. Samsung and Xiaomi swapped places on a quarterly basis, but Xiaomi did not appear on the list in Q3.

Counterpoint's report also showed that the iPhone 16 was the only iPhone model to be in the top 10 throughout the year, leading every ranking except the last list.
