If you were expecting new iPhone features in iOS 26.4.2, you will be disappointed because these will only come next month with iOS 26.5. That update will bring changes to Apple Maps, possibly end-to-end encrypted RCS messaging, and more.
It has only been a few weeks since the last bug fix update, iOS 26.4.1 addressed iCloud synchronization issues. We will continue to keep you informed about specific bugs discovered in today’s update.
If you are still using iOS and iPadOS 18, a new 18.7.8 update is also available today, which includes the same security fix as iOS 26.4.2.
