We believed, and now it's finally happening: Ted Lasso is returning this summer with its 4th season, and Apple TV has announced the release date and released the first trailer.
Ted Lasso Season 4 release date set for August 5
Ted Lasso aired its last episodes in 2023, ending with many uncertainties about the show's future. It seems that both the entire cast and the viewers wanted the show to continue, but the 3rd season appeared to have come to a close for a while.
However, last year Apple officially confirmed that Ted Lasso Season 4 would be coming.
And now, CEO Tim Cook has announced the release date and shared the first trailer.
Ted Lasso Season 4 will kick off with an episode on Wednesday, August 5, with weekly releases continuing until October 7.
Here is Apple's official season summary followed by the first trailer:
Ted is returning to Richmond and facing his biggest challenge yet: managing a women's football team in the second league. Throughout the season, Ted and the team learn to take leaps without looking and seize opportunities they never thought they would.
A large part of the original cast is returning for the new season of Ted Lasso, and rumors suggest that not only will we get Season 4, but also Seasons 5 and 6, completing a new three-season story arc.
