Perplexity has pioneered the AI browser space with the Comet web browser. Today's Comet update includes some nice features for iPad users.

Comet now supports iPadOS multitasking features

Comet combines the web browsing experience with an AI chat bot and works with AI models from Perplexity, OpenAI, Anthropic, and more.

After initially launching its AI-powered web browser on Mac, Perplexity brought Comet to iPhone in March.

Comet initially offered basic iPad support, but today's update introduces proper iPadOS support with features like multiple browser windows and improved multitasking.

Today, we are introducing a new native Comet experience for iPad.

Comet now works seamlessly with iPadOS features like multiple windows and Split View, allowing you to run Comet alongside other apps you use.

Additionally, Perplexity also launched a feature called Personal Computer, which serves as an agency assistant, on Mac this month.
