Additionally, Spotify announced a partnership with Peloton to provide Premium subscribers with access to over 1,400 ad-free, on-demand workouts.

The catalog includes equipment-free classes for activities such as outdoor workouts, strength training, cardio, yoga, and meditation, and Spotify states that it will expand this content over time.

According to Spotify, nearly 70% of Premium subscribers work out every month and are already using over 150 million fitness-themed playlists available on the service.

Speaking of playlists, Spotify notes that fitness and workouts are among the top use cases for its new Prompted Playlist feature. This feature uses artificial intelligence to create playlists based on user requests.

Regarding today's announcement, Spotify's Vice President and Head of Global Podcasts Roman Wasenmüller said:

“For nearly two decades, Spotify has been the music for the world's workouts (...) Today, we are expanding to make Spotify a true daily wellness companion. By directly integrating thousands of creators and partners like Peloton into our video and audio ecosystem, we are ensuring that Spotify is not just a place to pass the time, but also a place to gain momentum, improve your health, and derive more benefits than ever from each day.”

For the new Fitness hub, Free and Premium subscribers can access it by typing "fitness" in the search tab.
