Silo's 3rd season is expected to premiere later this year, but there is also a big update for the show's 4th season.
The filming of Silo's last two seasons has been completed, which could allow for a quick premiere return
Apple TV is filled with remarkable sci-fi series like Severance, Pluribus, and the latest Monarch: Legacy of Monsters.
One of the streaming platform's other sci-fi hits, Silo, is expected to return this year with its 3rd season.
Silo is based on the popular novel trilogy by Hugh Howey.
Due to the show's success, Apple has given an early renewal not only for the 3rd season but also for the 4th season. And the 4th season will conclude the series.
In a post made today on the X platform, Apple confirmed that the filming of Silo's 4th season has been completed.

Silo's 2nd season finale aired in early 2025, and the 3rd season is expected to arrive this fall. This means an approximately two-year gap between the seasons.
However, since the filming of the 4th season has been completed, we can expect a much quicker turnaround between the 3rd and 4th seasons.
If Silo's 3rd season airs this fall, it is likely that the 4th season will come within a year or perhaps even sooner.
The first two seasons of the series covered the first novel of the trilogy. Based on comments from creator and showrunner Graham Yost, it seems that the last two seasons will intertwine events from the 2nd and 3rd books and will not strictly follow a tightly written chronology.
You can watch the first two seasons of Silo here on Apple TV.
