With this update, users can add separate personal, work, and school accounts for a more personalized browsing experience while keeping their activities organized. Here are the details.
Multiple Account Support for the Browser's Multi-Profile Feature
When OpenAI launched the agency browser called ChatGPT Atlas last year, users quickly pointed out that many features they expected from modern browsers were missing.
Since then, OpenAI has been trying to stick to a weekly release schedule, gradually adding features such as tab organization, extension imports, tab renaming, and tab groups.
The company already offered multiple profile support, but Atlas still lacked the ability for users to log into multiple ChatGPT accounts from their separate profiles.
This feature is now available as part of this week's ChatGPT Atlas release. According to ChatGPT Atlas product lead Adam Fry, this was “one of the biggest barriers to using Atlas in every aspect of their lives.”
