Apple TV has brought back one of its biggest hit series and will release a new comedy series next week. But looking further ahead, there are two newly announced exciting Apple TV series. Here are the details.
#1: The Husbands, A24 Series Starring Juno Temple

The Husbands is a newly announced A24 series from Apple, featuring Juno Temple, known from Ted Lasso, in the lead role.
The series is based on the bestselling novel of the same name by author Holly Gramazio. Here is the story summary:
Lauren [Juno Temple] returns to her apartment in London one night to find her husband Michael waiting for her at the door. There’s just one problem - she is not married. She has never seen this man in her life. However, according to her friends, a much better decoration, and the photos on her phone, they have been together for years.
As Lauren tries to understand how she could be married to someone she doesn’t know, Michael climbs up to change a light bulb and suddenly disappears. A new man appears in his place, and a new, slightly altered way of life forms around her. When Lauren realizes that the attics produce an infinite number of husbands, she is faced with the question: If changing your life is as easy as changing a light bulb, how do you know you’re on the right path? When will you stop living a better life and start truly living?
This high-concept comedy-drama has assembled a strong cast to portray Temple's various husbands. The cast includes Joe Alwyn, Richard Gadd, Kingsley Ben-Adir, Joel Kinnaman, Daniel Ings, Bob Morley, and Fehinti Balogun.
There is no information yet about the release date, but Temple will be seen this summer on Apple TV in the 4th season of Ted Lasso.
#2: The Bonfire of the Vanities, NYC-Centered Series by David E. Kelley and Matt Reeves
The Bonfire of the Vanities is another series newly added by Apple.
This upcoming show is based on Tom Wolfe's satirical novel set in New York City.
Deadline reported last week that two big names have come together to adapt the book for Apple: David E. Kelley and Matt Reeves.
Kelley is writing the scripts. He was behind the Presumed Innocent series starring Jake Gyllenhaal and is also receiving praise for Apple TV's new comedy Margo's Got Money Troubles.
Reeves serves as the director and producer of the series. He is best known for The Batman and its sequel.
The book was previously adapted into a 1990 film featuring Tom Hanks, Bruce Willis, Melanie Griffith, Morgan Freeman, and Kirsten Dunst. The film was panned by critics and failed at the box office.
Clearly, Apple’s creative team believes this new series can succeed where the film did not.
Again, there is no information yet about the release date, but we will keep you informed when a premiere date is announced.
Apple TV is available for $12.99 per month, or you can get it at a discounted rate with the Apple One bundle.
