Lovable, one of the most commonly used AI-powered programming tools, has launched an iOS application that creates web applications based on natural language commands and even voice interactions. Here are the details.
‘Transform ideas into real, working web applications from your phone’
When it comes to iPhone vibe coding, the focus has been on the applications that Apple has been struggling with over the past few weeks.
However, there is an important distinction here: Apple refers to the app review guidelines that prohibit apps from changing their behavior after entering the App Store, which does not mean that vibe coding applications are completely banned.
Therefore, despite all this recent discussion, Lovable has launched its own app in the App Store, offering users the ability to “build from anywhere” through both text-based and voice interactions.
Essentially, Lovable works in the same familiar way as other AI-powered programming tools: the user describes what they want in natural language, and the app takes care of the rest, also providing the option to view and edit the underlying code if necessary.
However, Lovable's iOS application creates web-based applications, allowing users to start on mobile and continue on desktop, or vice versa, without disrupting their workflows.
Lovable expressed in its press release announcing the iOS and Android apps (via TechCrunch):
The Lovable mobile app allows you to build from anywhere. Start a project on your laptop, continue from the couch, and iterate from wherever life takes you. Whether you’re a founder prototyping a new concept, a designer testing a layout, or someone who has never written code — you can turn your ideas into real, working web applications from your phone.
Lovable is available for free download on the App Store, with subscription plans ranging from $9.99 to $79.99 per month.
