Apple Pencil and iPad are indispensable tools for illustrators; this fact will be fully showcased later this month in Sydney, Australia.
Apple and the Sydney Opera House have announced a "one-year collaboration" by commissioning a new artwork titled Illuminating Creativity, which will transform the eastern Bennelong sails of the Opera House from March 25-27 as a "canvas for creative activities, community, and Australian talent."
The artworks created on iPad with Procreate will be executed by 10 rising Australian artists:
The projection will showcase original static and motion image artworks created on iPad with Procreate by a diverse group of 10 different rising Australian artists. From March 9-15, the public will be invited to create their own digital artworks on iPad in free Today at Apple sessions and can submit their works for consideration for the final projection.
To promote artwork creation with iPad, Apple will hold creative sessions at Apple Store locations in Australia:
From March 9-15, Apple Store locations across Australia will host free Today at Apple sessions inviting the public to create their own digital artworks on iPad. Selected works will consist of pieces from both the commissioned artists and those submitted by the public, and will be exhibited at the eastern Bennelong sails of the Sydney Opera House at 8:30 PM on March 25, and at 8:00 PM on March 26 and 27.
