Adobe Turntable has now been released for general use in Illustrator, allowing creatives to create multi-angle views from any vector illustration. Here’s how it works.

‘What used to take hours now happens in seconds’

In October 2024, at the Adobe MAX conference, Adobe introduced Project Turntable. At that time, this feature was only shown as a preview, and the company stated that it would allow users to "rotate your drawings in 3D while maintaining the 2D art style from every angle."

Today, the company is releasing Adobe Turntable for general use in Illustrator, meaning creatives can now create instant multi-angle vector images of their assets in seconds.

Adobe noted that this feature was developed during the beta process and now produces up to 74 editable images from a single vector design, including “full rotation and vertical tilt.”

The company adds:

Every angle remains an editable vector, allowing designers to quickly create rotations, animations, and production-ready assets while preserving the original details.

Adobe states that during the beta process, animators accelerated character rotations using Turntable, and game designers used it to create concept art for new projects.
